Tiana Cello scored the only goal in the 49
th minute to lead the San Jose State women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Colorado College in a Mountain West match Sunday afternoon at Stewart Field.

After a scoreless first half, Cello took a pass from Taylor Phillips, moved down the left side and sent what looked like a cross into the box that ended up in the upper right corner of the net past Tiger goalkeeper
Ally Wakeman.

Colorado College (3-4-2, 0-1-1 MW) had a couple of decent chances throughout the game, but could muster only one shot on goal, a left-footed chance by
Kaelin Woodruff in the 30
th minute that was saved by SJSU keeper Bente Pernot.

Pernot was forced the leave the game after injuring her right hand following a Colorado College corner kick in the 57
th minute. The Tigers tried to collect the tying goal against backup Autum Monty, but a header by
Gracie Huebner in the 63
rd minute went just wide and a rocket from
Shalom Prince in the 74
th minute caromed straight off the crossbar.
