Colorado College dominated Southwestern University, 93-37, on Friday night in Reid Arena. The Tigers improve to 8-7, (4-1 SCAC) with the win.
Thirteen Tigers found their way into the scoring column against the Pirates with 58 of the 93 points coming off the bench.
Audrey Bayston and
Tedy Reed led the Tigers with 12 and 11 points respectively. Reed earned new season high's with four field goals and two three-point baskets for 11 points and seven rebounds.Â
"Tonight was the team win we needed to move forward confidently in conference play – everyone contributed and we made strides in key areas," coach
Katherine Menendez said. "From our press to our half-court defense to our confidence on the offensive end, I'm proud of the effort we are putting forth."
CC held Southwestern to a 22.2% field goal percentage and just 18.2% from behind the arc.
Talia Cloud,
Rosie Braley and
Avery Johnson all recorded blocks in the victory. The blocks were Cloud and Johnson's first of the season and the pair both scored season-high points with nine and four points.Â

The Tigers scored 23 points off of turnovers and earned 28 second chance points to the Pirates two.
Southwestern was led by Ellie Ward who scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds.
