Freshman goalkeeper Regan Wallace has been named the Mountain West Women's Soccer Defensive Player and Freshman of the Week for her stellar play in the City For Champions Cup match against Air Force on Thursday. 
 
Wallace, from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., recorded 13 saves, her second-most this season, and the first shutout of her career in the 0-0 draw against the Falcons.
 
Her 111 saves this season tops the Mountain West and is seventh in the nation. It also places her in a tie for sixth on CC's single-season list with Janine Szpara.

The Tigers finished the 2023 campaign with a 3-13-2 overall record and 3-7-1 mark in league pay, good for a tie for ninth place.
