Gleb Veremyev collected an assist on the play, extending his career-best point streak to six games.
Â
CC doubled its lead just two minutes into second period as
Ryan Beck scored his first goal of the season.
Bret Link sent a beautiful pass from the right circle to a streaking Beck at the bottom of the left circle and Beck hit the open net.

Â
Laba scored his second of the game and second shorthanded goal of the weekend at the 17:31 mark of the middle frame with a breakaway to make it 3-1. He is the first Colorado College player to score two goals in consecutive games since Chris Wilkie vs. Princeton in 2019 and the first with a shorthanded goal in back-to-back contests since Chad Rau vs. Wisconsin on Nov. 16-17, 2007.
Â
