Colorado College defeated Rhodes College, 12-8, in their road opener in Bloomington, Ill. on Saturday.
The Tigers jumped out to an early lead with five unanswered goals thanks. Junior attack
Kendall Havill led the charge with six goals against the Lynx, three coming in the first half of play.

Caroline Shay, and
Devon Ortman who all connected against Rhodes.
The teams alternated scores in the second half until Colorado College struck for three goals during the final 5:44 of the third quarter to extend the lead to 12-7.
Colorado College caused 22 turnovers and held Rhodes to 18 clears on 23 attempts.
The Tigers finished with a 15-7 advantage in draw controls and 35-20 in total shots.
Natalie Slade made eight stops for the Tigers and Emma Bradley made 15 saves for the Lynx.
