"I thought we competed really hard for a full 60 minutes today," coach Susan Stewart said. "Anytime you take a highly ranked team to an overtime situation means we are doing the right things. It was an unfortunate outcome, but I am very proud of our team's play today."Â
Lulu Hardy led the Maroons with six goals.Â
The Tigers out shot UChicago, 36-30, 25 of their shots coming on target. CC won the ground ball battle, 21-18 and beat the Maroons in draw controls 17-14.
Natalie Slade made ten saves in the game.
