Tigers Wrap Up Non-Conference Slate at Arizona State
The Colorado College women's soccer team travels to Tempe, Ariz., for its final non-conference match of the seaosn against Pac-12 opponent Arizona State on Friday, Sept. 15, beginning at 8 p.m. (MDT). The match will be streamed live on the Pac-12 Network.
Last Time Out
The Tigers dropped a pair of road matches last week, falling to Bucknell University, 5-2, on Sept. 7, and Army, 3-0, on Sept. 10. Senior

Ava Risser scored against Bucknell but the Tigers allowed the Bison to score the final four goals of the match. Freshman

Second Year For Head Coach Keri Sanchez
Keri Sanchez was named the eighth head coach in the history of the school's Division I women's soccer program in December of 2021. Sanchez, who won four NCAA National Championships as a player at the University of North Carolina, led the Tigers to a 7-7-5 record and their first appearance in the Mountain West Tournament since 2018. She brought 25 years of coaching experience to Colorado Springs that spans Division I and Division III. During her standout professional career, Sanchez played at the highest level. She notched 13 caps with the United States Women's National Team and played in the first-ever World Cup qualifying tournament in 1991.

Non-Conference Opponents
Colorado College will play teams from six different leagues during its seven-game non-conference schedule. Those leagues are the Conference USA (Louisiana Tech), Summit League (Denver), Pac-12 (Colorado, Arizona State), Big-12 (Kansas) and the Patriot League (Bucknell, Army).
