The Colorado College volleyball team was victorious on Sunday with a 3-1 SCAC win over Schreiner University in Georgetown, Texas. Set scores were 25-17, 25-17, 12-25 and 25-18. Senior
Keeley Kandziora recorded a double-double in the match with 18 digs and 15 kills while senior
Jenny Jenks was outstanding with 43 assists and 16 digs.

In the first set, Kandziora led both teams with five kills to help the Tigers win 25-17.

The second set was more evenly matched as the two sides traded points back and forth before CC pulled ahead, 16-13 and forced Schreiner to call a timeout. The Tigers never relinquished the lead and won the second set, 25-17.

The third set had the Mountaineers going up 17-7 before CC called a timeout to regroup. Unfortunately, Schreiner had all the momentum and went on to win 25-12.

The Tigers took the lead early in the fourth and final set and never relinquished it, winning 25-18.
Freshman
Camille Sherrill led CC with 17 kills while freshman
Meghan Gannon recorded 17 digs.

"It was a weekend of mixed emotions, however, we understood the importance of today's match," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "We executed with a sense of urgency and competed passionately."

The Tigers will be home on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 with matches against conference foes, Centenary, Univ. of Dallas, Austin College and nationally-ranked Trinity University.
