Tenzi Knowles scored the game-winning goal late in the contest to give the Utah State women's soccer team a 2-1 victory over Colorado College in a Mountain West match Sunday at Stewart Field.
 
Utah State had five shots early in the game that resulted in Tess Werts scoring a goal six minutes into the contest. A total of three corner kicks did not result in very much offense for either side.
 
Utah State's Diera Walton tallied the only save in the first half.
 
After entering the game in the 60
th minute, junior 
Brett Tsamasfyros got an opportunity immediately and put the Tigers on the board at 61:31. Junior 
Gracie Huebner assisted on the tying score.
 
Tsamasfyros' goal, her first of the season, came off a goal line shot that went to the opposite corner for the score.
 
The Aggies retook the lead in the 75
th minute when Knowles took a crossing pass from Kylie Olsen and sent a quick shot down low past CC goalkeeper freshman 
Regan Wallace for the score.
 
A cross in the final minute gave the Tigers an opportunity to score but it was not to be.
 
CC drops to 0-8-1 and 0-2 in the Mountain West while Utah State improves to 4-6-1 and 1-1.
The Tigers will be back in action on Sept. 28 at New Mexico at 7:30 p.m.
