Tigers Travel to East Coast To Face Bucknell and Army
The Colorado College women's soccer team travels to the East Coast for a pair of matches this week. The Tigers take on Bucknell on Thursday, Sept. 7, in Lewisburg, Pa., beginning at 5 p.m. (MT), then to West Point, N.Y., on Sunday, Sept. 10, to face Army at 11 a.m. (MT). Both contests will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Last Time Out
The Tigers dropped a pair of road matches two weeks ago, falling to the University of Colorado, 2-0, on Aug. 24, and the University of Kansas, 6-0, on Aug. 27. Freshman

Second Year for Head Coach Keri Sanchez
Keri Sanchez was named the eighth head coach in the history of the school's Division I women's soccer program in December of 2021. Sanchez, who won four NCAA National Championships as a player at the University of North Carolina, led the Tigers to a 7-7-5 record and their first appearance in the Mountain West Tournament since 2018. She brought 25 years of coaching experience to Colorado Springs that spans Division I and Division III. During her standout professional career, Sanchez played at the highest level. She notched 13 caps with the United States Women's National Team and played in the first-ever World Cup qualifying tournament in 1991.

Colorado College is 0-3-1 entering this week's matches. Bucknell is 3-2-1 after tying Villanova, 1-1, at home last Thursday and defeating LaSalle, 3-1, in Philadelphia on Sunday. Army, meanwhile, is 0-4-2 this season entering its match against Air Force on Thursday in West Point. Meanwhile, Jasmine Talley paces the Black Knights with two goals, while Brigid Duffy and Cami Silvestro each have a goal and an assist.
