Second Half Dooms Tigers in Loss at Bucknell

Junior Ava Risser and senior Shalom Prince scored and freshman Regan Wallace equaled her career high with 10 saves for Colorado College Thursday night, but Bucknell scored four consecutive goals in the second half to claim a 5-2 victory over the Tigers in Lewisburg, Pa.

Things looked good for the Tigers when Prince gave CC a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute. Kaelin Enga shot from 25 yards was knocked away by Bucknell goalie Jenna Hall and Prince was there to clean it up for her second goal of the season.

Bucknell evened the contest with an unfortunate own goal by the Tigers in the 58th minute. Henna Andican sent a cross into the box and the ball deflected off CC defender Emma Smith's leg past Wallace.

The Bison took the lead for good when Meghan White converted from the spot after CC's Evie Biggs took down Andican in the box.

Bucknell's Teresa Deda scored twice in the final seven minutes for the final margin.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead when Risser 's corner kick 50 seconds into the contest went directly into the net past Hall.

The home team tied it up at 1-1 at the 3:55 mark when Eva Frankovic took a pass from Andican and beat Wallace.

The Tigers (0-4-1) were outshot 29-15 in total shots and 15-7 on target. Andican led all players with 10 shots, while freshman Kendall Memoly led CC with three.

Hall finished with five saves for the Bison (4-2-1).
