The Colorado College volleyball team (10-8, 6-2 SCAC) plays its final two home matches of the season this weekend at Reid Arena. The Tigers play Austin College on Friday, Oct. 18, beginning at 11 a.m., then Dickinson College on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Tigers went 2-1 in Houston last weekend, including splitting a pair of matches against nationally-ranked SCAC opponents. The Tigers defeated St. Thomas, 3-1, on Friday, and 17
th-ranked Southwestern, 3-2 on Saturday before dropping a 3-1 decision to 21
st-ranked Trinity on Sunday.

Sophomore
Camille Sherrill led the team with a career-high 22 kills and finished with a .340 hitting clip in the 28-26, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19 victory over St. Thomas.
Carolyn Dormady followed suit with 18 kills, and
Brooke Brilliant was the final player with double-digit kills, racking up 10 and a team-high .450 hitting percentage.

In the 23-25, 25-19, 25-12, 22-25, 15-11 victory over Southwestern, Sherrill upped her career high by one with 23 kills and Brilliant added 16. monster defensively as well, equaling her career-best with 21 digs, set the previous night as well.

Trinity downed CC 25-19, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20 on Sunday as Dormady and Sherrill once again led CC offensively, collecting 17 and 14 kills, respectively.
Annie Steger posted a match-high 46 assists and
Meghan Gannon led the squad defensively with 21 digs.

Sherrill Wins Weekly SCAC Award
Sherrill was named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week.

She posted a career-high 22 kills in the Tigers' win over St. Thomas on Friday, then upped that by one on Saturday in CC's upset win over No. 17 Southwestern. Sherrill also had a career-high with 21 digs in each match. She averaged 4.54 kills per set and hit .252 for the weekend while adding two service aces.Â

For the season, Sherrill is second on the team with 213 kills and third with 152 digs.

Scouting The Opposition
Austin College enters the weekend with a 12-9 overall record and a 5-2 mark in the SCAC, one-half game behind CC in the Blue Division. The 'Roos lost to Southwestern, 3-0, and Trinity, 3-2, last weekend. Austin College defeated CC, 3-0, on Oct. 6, in Sherman, Texas.

Dickinson College is 11-7 overall and 1-3 in the Centennial Conference after defeating Geneva College and the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, both by a 3-1 margin, last weekend.
