The Colorado College volleyball team (12-8, 7-2 SCAC) heads to Texas to play three road matches this weekend, taking on McMurry University on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 p.m., the University of Dallas on Sunday, Oct. 27, beginning at 2 p.m., and Centenary College in Irving, Texas, on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 4:30 p.m. All game times are Central Time.

Tigers Celebrate Senior Day Against Dickinson

Kaylie Stuteville were celebrated after the overwhelming victory against Dickinson College on Saturday.
"These seven seniors have been a joy to coach," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "They were integral in setting a standard that they want to have as their legacy in this program. They each bring different strengths to our team that together have formed a remarkable class. Their commitment to this program will long be remembered and always appreciated."
Steger Wins SCAC Weekly Award
Senior
Annie Steger was named SCAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for the third time this season.
Last weekend, Steger had 50 assists in CC's four-set victory over Austin College, averaging 12.50 assists per set. She added 26 in the sweep over Dickinson and finished the weekend averaging 10.86 assists per set.
Steger currently leads the Tigers and the SCAC in assists and is second on the team in digs with 192.
Last Time Out
The Tigers went 2-0 last weekend in their final home matches of the season, defeating SCAC opponent Austin College 3-1 on Friday, and Centennial Conference foe Dickinson College 3-0 on Saturday.
In the 25-20, 20-25, 25-16, 25-19 victory over Austin College, Junior
Carolyn Dormady led the way with a match-high 17 kills while
Camille Sherrill followed suit with double digit kills, racking up 14 and 17 digs. Senior
Annie Steger collected a match-high 50 assists while
Meghan Gannon led the team with 18 digs.
Seniors
Delaney Rach and
Steph Brown led the Tigers to a 25-13, 25-12, 25-14, victory over Dickinson College in the final home match of the season. Rach and Camille Sherril tallied seven kills, while Brown and
Carolyn Dormady finished with six each.
Annie Steger collected 26 assists and a match-high six digs.
Scouting The Opposition
McMurry University enters this weekend with a 10-10 overall and a 5-4 record in the SCAC, currently standing third in the Blue Division. The Warhawks defeated the University of Dallas 3-1 last weekend and lost 3-0 to CC, on Sept. 28, at Reid Arena.
The University of Dallas is 1-21 overall and 1-8 in the SCAC, currently standing fifth in the Blue Division after the 3-1 loss to McMurry, on Oct. 17.
Centenary College is 1-18 and holds a 0-10 record in the SCAC, standing sixth in the Blue Division after losing to Austin College on Oct. 24. This game was rescheduled after originally getting postponed last weekend in Colorado Springs.
