The Colorado College volleyball team (7-6, 3-0 SCAC) continues play in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) this weekend with a pair of matches on the road. The Tigers play at Centenary College in Shreveport, La., on Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 12 p.m. (CT), then at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. (CT).

Last Time Out
The Tigers stayed perfect in the SCAC with a pair of three-set sweeps oiver University of Dallas and McMurry University at home last weekend at Reid Arena.
Carloyn Dormady had a match-high 15 kills with just one error on 20 attempts for a career-high .700 hitting percentage in the 25-14, 25-17, 25-9, victory over Dallas.
Steph Brown followed with nine kills and hit .500 for the match, while
Annie Steger collected 21 assists. The Tigers hit a season-high .438 as a team, the highest percentage in a match since hitting .500 vs. Centenary on Sept. 30, 2023.
In the 25-22, 25-18, 25-12 sweep over McMurry, Dormady collected a match-high 17 kills with just two errors on 34 attempts for a .441 hitting percentage.
Camille Sherrill, meanwhile, added 15 kills and a .344 hitting percentage.
Brooke Brilliant followed with 10 kills with just one error for a match-high and season-best .529 percentage. Steger collected 37 assists, while
Meghan Gannon had a match-best 15 digs, followed by Steger with 12.
Dormady, Steger Earn SCAC Weekly Honors
Dormady and Steger were named the SCAC Offensive Player and Setter of the Week, respectively, after leading the Tigers to a pair of conference sweeps over Dallas and McMurry last weekend.
Dormady, from Los Altos, Calif., led the Tigers with 15 kills and posted a career-high .700 hitting percentage against Dallas, then added a match-high 17 kills vs. McMurry. Dormady had 32 kills (5.33 per set) and just three errors for a .537 hitting percentage during the weekend. She also had 12 digs and six aces.
Steger, from Half Moon Bay, Calif., posted 59 assists in CC's two matches last weekend, including 38 against McMurry. She added 23 digs and helped the Tigers to a .438 hitting percentage vs. Dallas and .322 vs. McMurry as the Tigers, who were hitting .220 heading into the weekend, hit a combined .369 in their two conference victories. Steger currently leads the SCAC in assists, averaging 9.98 per set.
Scouting The Opposition
Centenary enters the weekend with a 1-11 overall record and 0-3 mark in the SCAC. The Ladies lost to Austin College, 3-0, on Sept. 28, after defeating Wiley College on Sept. 24, for their first victory of the season.
Austin College is 10-6 overall and 3-0 in the SCAC after defeating Centenary, 3-0, on Sept. 28. The 'Roos are tied with CC for first place in the Blue Division of the SCAC.
