The Colorado College women's soccer team fell to Nevada 5-0 in Reno. Nev. on Sunday, Oct. 6th.

Nevada scored early in the fourth minute and never looked back, ending its nine-game losing streak. The Tigers finished with 12 shots, led by
Brett Tsamasfyros and
Gracie Huebner, who had three a piece.Â

The Wolfpack found the back of the net in the fourth minute when Olivia Loomis found the top left corner open to put Nevada on the board.Â

CC tried to respond in the eighth minute when its first shot was from
Gracie Huebner but missed the left of the net. The Tigers' next two chances came from
Tyler Rose and Tsamasfyros in the 25th minute with back-to-back shots, but neither snuck past the Wolfpack defense.Â

Nevada added to its lead in the 34th minute with Emily Rich's first goal; she would finish the game with two.Â

CC dished out five shots in the first half but faced a 2-0 deficit at the halftime break.Â

In the second, the Tigers made a substitution in net as
Erika Upson saw her first action of the season in place of Wallace.Â

Tsamsfyros recorded her second shot of the day in the 50th minute that nearly made it past Nevada goalkeeper Alyssa Szarlacki, but it was saved.Â

Nevada scored three more times in the 54th, 63rd, and 81st minutes to increase its lead to five goals.Â

CC had several chances in the half, including a couple of shots by Huebner, but the deficit was too much in the end and CC ultimately fell 5-0.Â

The Tigers dropped to 5-7-1 (1-3-0) and look ahead to their next set of home games against San Diego State on Oct. 10 and New Mexico on Oct. 13.Â
