The Colorado College volleyball team saw its 2024 season come to an end with a four-set loss to the University of St. Thomas in the quarterfinals of the SCAC Tournament Friday afternoon in Sherman, Texas.

The Tigers, who entered the match as the tourney's overall No. 2 seed after winning the Blue Division with a 12-3 conference record, captured a back-and-forth first set, 26-24. However, St. Thomas rallied to win the next three, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.

CC's hitting trio of
Carolyn Dormady,
Camille Sherrill and
Brooke Brilliant led the Tigers once again, with each collecting 13 kills. Brilliant hit a team-high .407 percentage, committing only two errors in 27 attempts.

Annie Steger posted 46 kills in her final collegiate match and added 15 digs and four aces. Sherrill paced the Tigers with 20 digs, while Brilliant had a team=best three total blocked shots.

Colorado College finished the 2024 season with a 17-10 overall record and played six ranked teams.
