The Colorado College swimming and diving teams return to action this weekend to host Division II Adams State on Saturday, Nov. 16, beginning at 12 p.m., in Schlessman Natatorium. This will be the women's team's first home meet.

Sophomore diverÂ
Wyatt Wellehan set a pool record in the 1-meter diving competition with 348.15 points, while
Andrew Colgan posted his fifth victory in just three meets this season, winning the 100 breaststroke in a time of 59.49 seconds, followed by
Collin Ralston in second place with a time of 59.75.

Senior
Jack Hussin also posted a victory on Saturday, claiming the 100 freestyle in 48.4 seconds. Hussin also finished second in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.74.

The women have not competed since Oct. 19 when they traveled to Texas to take on Trinity and Southwestern, going 1-1.

Against Trinity, SophomoreÂ
Isabella Cole led the way for CC, winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke events. Fellow sophomoreÂ
Alyssa Tunggal captured the 200 butterfly and joined sophomoreÂ

Julia Cox on the second-place 400 medley relay team.

In diving, seniorÂ
Emma Krasemann, the reigning SCAC Diver of the Year, finished first in the 3-meter and second in the 1-meter competitions.

The Tiger women went on to defeat Southwestern 179-79, as juniorÂ
Megan Simonson, Turner and Cox, led the way by each winning one individual and two relay races.

The 1000 freestyle also went 1-2-3 for the Tigers, led by freshmanÂ
Kylie Spalt and followed by fellow freshmanÂ
Aspen Fisher and seniorÂ

Wellehan Named SCAC Diver of the Week
For the second time this season, sophomore
Wyatt Wellehan was named SCAC Diver of the Week for his record breaking performance against Colorado School of Mines.
Wellehan, from Winnetka, Ill., won both diving events against the Orediggers and set the pool record for 6 dives on the 1-meter board with a score of 348.15. He also broke pool records for the 11-dive total.

Scouting the Opposition
Adams State's women's team is 2-5 on the season after falling to Colorado Mines and CSU Pueblo on Nov. 9 and 10. The Grizzley men are 1-3 with a pair of losses to Colorado Mines this past weekend.
