CC Adds Five New Commits For 2025 Season

Colorado College women's soccer head coach Keri Sanchez announced the newest class of 2025 commits including four incoming first-year players and one transfer. CC will welcome five new Tigers this upcoming fall. 
 
 "We are thrilled about the depth and quality of this signing class," Sanchez said. "We have worked hard to help replace the talent we are losing through graduation this year. Each player has unique qualities that will enhance the overall potential of our team next fall."
 
Ogden, Utah native Kate Pulley comes to Colorado Springs after leading Odgen High School to the 2024 UHSAA 3A State Championship Game. Pulley scored 35 goals in her senior season as a forward, averaging 2.1 goals per game. 
 
Pulley was named a 3A All-State First Team selection after leading the entire state of Utah, regardless of division in goals scored. 
 
She played also for the La Roca Futbol Club in the ECNL. 
 
"Kate is a proven goal scorer at the club and high school level and we see her being able to convert those skills at the college level," Sanchez said. "She is dangerous in a variety of ways and will give our attack an immediate boost."
 
Sophia Mayne, a midfielder from Lakewood, Wash. will join the CC midfield line after competing for Curtis Senior High School and Washington Premier ECNL. 
 
Mayne led the Curtis Senior High School Vikings to the semifinals of the WIAA 4A State Tournament and finished the season with a 17-3-2 record. 
 
"Sophia is a tough, technical, and versatile midfielder. She is a competitor, and we are excited to add her to our midfield line," Sanchez said.
 
CC adds another goalkeeper to the roster with a Skye Pratt coming to Colorado Springs from Potomac, MD. Pratt played for Walt Whitman High School and helped lead the Vikings to the semifinals of the MPSSAA 4A State Tournament. 
 
Pratt was named a MPSSAA All State First-Team selection after leading the Vikings to a 20-3-1 record and allowing only 0.91 goals per game. 
 
"Skye is a technically strong goalkeeper that has a big presence and personality," Sanzhes said. "She will immediately add to the competitiveness of our GK group." 
 
Defender Lily Smith comes to CC after competing for Rye County Day School in Rye, New York and playing club soccer for the New York Soccer Club GA. Smith will add another piece to a talented defender group Sanchez had put together. 
 
"Lily is a versatile defender that brings size and athleticism to our back line," Sanchez said. "She is comfortable on the ball and can add to our attack as well."
 
Eden Palkovic joins CC as a transfer from Iowa Central Community College where she played as both a midfielder and forward. 
 
Palkovic, originally from Erie, Penn. led Iowa Central CC with 58 points, 26 goals and six assists. She was named the The 2024 ICCAC Division II Player of the Year after playing in 17 games and logging her 26 goals off only 32 shots. 
 
She played high school soccer for Erie High School and led the Royals with 25 goals her senior season. 
 
"Eden is a fiery competitor that has the technical skill and prowess to play on the front line or in the midfield," Sanchez said. "Her experience and leadership will be valued."
