The Colorado College women's tennis team rallied to defeat Lewis-Clark State College, 4-3, Thursday afternoon in Lewiston, Idaho.
 
Lewis-Clark jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches. CC's top team of 
Kala Komanduri and 
Gigi Jensen posted the best result, falling to Heidi Moyo and Rayana Shah, 6-4.
 
The Tigers roared back and captured the top four singles matches. Komanduri led things off with a 6-3, 6-3, victory over Shah at the No. 1 position, while 
Avery Hickman followed suit by defeating Lina Boylan, 6-4, 7-6(2), at No. 2.
 
Christina Heffron won her second straight match at the No. 3 spot with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Marina Perez, while 
Lindsay Popeo downed Carisa Liebenberg, 7-5, 6-0.
 
The Tigers return to action on Friday, Feb. 16, against Linfield College in Walla Walla, Wash., beginning at 10 a.m. (PT).
