The Colorado College men's tennis team defeated Linfield University, 8-1, Friday afternoon in Walla Walla, Wash.
 
The Tigers jumped out to a 2-1 lead with victories at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions. August Knox and Nick Anderson captured their third straight victory at the No. 2 position with an 8-3 win over Haven Hepton and Cameron Paulsen, while Lucas Pastor and Nate Beerman downed Alexander Rosenquist and Matous Young, 8-4, at the No. 3 spot.
 
In singles action, CC won all six matches in straight sets. Andrew Kaelin won his fourth straight match at the No. 1 spot, downing Seth Lee, 6-3, 6-3, while Aiden Little and Nick Anderson won the No. 3 and 6 matches by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Feb. 17, against Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash., beginning at 4 p.m. (PT).
