Kendall Accetta and
Ella Fullerton each set a school record at the season-opening Oxy Distance Classic and Spring Break Classic in Los Angeles, Calif.

Accetta finished second in the 5K with a time of 17:20.11, breaking the previous mark of 17"21.34 by Leah Wessler in 2017. Meanwhile, Fullerton placed fourth in the 800 in 2:13.22, snapping the previous record of 2:14.64, set by Stefani Messick in 2016.

Erin Capell posted a runner-up finish in the shot put with a toss of 38'0.75" and placed eighth in the discus (105'9").

April Kwan finished third in the high jump at 5'1.75" , While
Emma Fowkes was third in the 100 hurdles (15.88 seconds) and fifth in the high jump (4'11.75").
Liz White finished third in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 11:46.50, followed by
Julia Solano in sixth (11:55.88).

Sydney Rankin placed fourth in the 1500 (4:48.75),
Alison Mueller-Hickler fifth in the 5K (17:29.56),
Clara Lippert sixth in the 400 (1:00.42) and
Josephine Louis sixth in the pole vault (10'2").

In the relay races, the 4x400 team of Fowkes,
Emma Jones,
Molly Vance and Lippert placed third in 4:05.35, while the 4x00 squad of Fowkes, Lippert, Jones and Kwan was fourth in 50.81 seconds.

The Tigers will split their squad next weekend, racing at Emory University (March 15-16) and CSU-Pueblo (March 16).
