Tigers Win Two Singles Matches But Fall to No. 35 Chapman

The Colorado College men's tennis team captured two singles matches, but fell to 35th-ranked Chapman University, 7-2, Friday evening in Orange, Calif.
 
Chapman jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the doubles matches. The Tigers' No. 2 team of Nick Anderson and Dominik Kaminski posted the best result, falling 8-5 at the No. 2 spot to Aram Izmirian and Kameron DeHart.
 
Lucas Pastor and Jack Delafield captured the singles victories for the Tigers. Pastor won the No. 2 match, 6-1, 7-6(3) over Lachlan Dickinson, while Delafield defeated DeHart, 3-6, 6-3, 1-0(1), at No. 6. The Panthers won the other four matches in straight sets.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, March 16, against No. 5-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, in Claremont, Claif., beginning at 5 p.m. (PT).
