Brock Bremer and Tanner Ludtke each had a goal and an assist to lead 12
th-ranked Omaha to a 3-1 victory over No. 10 Colorado College Saturday night in game two of the NCHC quarterfinal series at Ed Robson Arena.

Simon Latkoczy had 39 saves as the Mavericks forced a deciding game three on Sunday, March 17, beginning at 6 p.m.

Ludtke opened the scoring just 3:13 into the game. After
Ray Christy was whistled for an unsportsmanlike penalty, Ludtke fired a shot past CC goalie
Kaidan Mbereko on the ensuing power play.

Chase Foley notched his second goal of the weekend to even things up at the 7:17 mark. He took the puck down the left side and scored on a wraparound past Latkoczy. Foley had not scored this season and had just one goal in 101 career games entering the series.

Jimmy Glynn put the Mavericks back on top at 16:46 of the opening frame. His initial shot was saved by Mbereko, but Glynn put a backhanded rebound in the net.

After outshooting Omaha, 17-8, in the first period, the Tigers held a 15-2 advantage during a scoreless middle frame.

Bremer scored an insurance goal at the 7:37 mark of the third with Omaha's second power-play goal of the night. He took a pass from Ludtke and fired a shot past Mbereko from the slot.

The Tigers once again held a big advantage in shots, 40-21, after outshooting the Mavericks, 50-15, on Friday. Mbereko finished with 18 saves.
