The Colorado College women's track and field team finished 11th overall at the conclusion of the Emory Spring Break Classic in Atlanta, Georgia. The Tigers collected 21 team points overall. Day Two of the meet consisted of solid performances, including numerous Top 15 and one Top 5 finish. 
 
Freshman Gabriela Lues finished fifth overall in the 800 meters. Lues crossed with a time of 2:19.13. It was the best overall finish of any Tiger over the weekend. Fellow freshman Julia Snelling finished 10th in the same race with a time of 2:21.70. 
 
Josephine Louis grabbed another top-ten finish in the pole vault with a top mark of 3.00 m. 
 
Clara Lippert finished 13th overall in the 400 meters after crossing in 1:00.58. In the discus throw, Erin Capell placed 17th overall as the junior racked up a top mark of 31.10 m. 
 
In the relays, the CC "A" team finished 10th overall after crossing in 52.07 in the 4x100 relay. Later on, in the 4x400 relay, the Tigers placed seventh overall with a time of 4:04.43. 
 
The Tigers also sent athletes to the CSU-Pueblo Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Invitational in Pueblo, Colorado. Kendall Acetta finished first in the women's 1,500 m with a time of 4:44.81. Ella Fullerton crossed seventh in the same race with a time of 4:53.28.
 
Accetta also finished seventh in the 800 m with a time of 2:22.45. 
 
In the 5,000-meter run, Alison Mueller-Hickler took third overall after finishing in 18.58.02. 
 
The Tigers will return to action on March 29th in the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis, MO.
