Tigers Slide By Cal Lutheran

The Colorado College men's tennis team captured a 6-3 victory over Cal Lutheran Sunday afternoon in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
 
The Tigers jumped out to an early 2-1 lead by winning the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles matches. CC's No. 2 team of Nick Anderson and Dominik Kaminski defeated Andi Ai and James Truong, 8-7(1), while Lucas Pastor and Nate Beerman won the No. 3 match, 8-1, over Raphael Simon and Jakob Buehler.  
 
The Tigers won the top three singles matches. Andrew Kaelin beat Ethan Sherwood, 7-6(4), 6-3, at No. 1, while Pastor rallied to beat Ai, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2.
 
Aiden Little followed suit with a 6-4, 6-3 drubbing of Loup Sudre at No. 3, and Beerman finished off Jake Anderson, 6-1, 7-5, at the No. 5 spot.
 
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, March 19, against UC Santa Cruz, beginning at 9 a.m. (PT).
