The Colorado College men's tennis team played tough against Division II Metro State Saturday afternoon, but fell to the Roadrunners, 6-3, at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs.

Metro State jumped out to an early 3-0 by sweeping the three doubles matches. CC's No. 3 team of
Dominik Kaminski and
Justin Boder posted the best result, but dropped an 8-7(3) decision to Kai Trujillo and Alessandro Munoz. Marco Jalalian and Juho Kantola captured the No. 1 match, 8-6, over
Andrew Kaelin and
Aiden Little. Â

The teams split the three singles matches, as Kaelin beat Alejandro Jiminez, 7-5, 6-2, at the No. 1 singles position, while Little rallied to beat Jeanloop Auzias, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3.

Kaminski captured the No. 6 match, 6-1, 6-3, over Trujillo, but the Roadrunners won the other three in straight sets.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 13, against Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo., beginning at 9 a.m.
