The Colorado College men's tennis team won a singles and a doubles match against Division II Colorado Mesa Saturday morning, but fell to the Mavericks, 6-1, in Grand Junction.

Despite winning the No. 1 doubles match, the Tigers lost the doubles point after CMU won at No. 2 and No. 3.
Andrew Kaelin and
Aiden Little defeated William Leschig and Henry Scheck, 6-2, at the top spot. CC's No. 2 team of
Nick Anderson and
Nate Beerman lost a close match at No. 2, 6-4, to Diogo Manzano and Jorge Abreau, while
Dominik Kaminski and
Justin Boder fell to Emil Hultman and Philemon Jabin, 6-1, at No. 3. Â Â

In singles, Little posted CC's lone victory by defeating Manzano, 6-4, 6-3, T the No. 3 position. Meanwhile, Kaelin dropped a heartbreaker to Jabin at the No. 1 spot, 5-7, 6-2, 1-0(10), at the top spot, while Hultman snuck past Beerman, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0(7) at No. 4.

Colorado Mesa won the other three matches in straight sets.

The Tigers return to action against SCAC opponents on Friday, April 19, against St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, beginning at 12 p.m. (CT).
