The Colorado College men's tennis team posted a pair of singles wins against No. 6 Trinity University Saturday morning, but fell to the Tigers from Texas, 7-2, in San Antonio.

Trinity took an early 3-0 advantage by winning all three doubles matches. CC's No. 1 team of
Andrew Kaelin and
Aiden Little put up the best fight before falling, 8-5, to Jared Perry and Ethan Flores.Â

In singles, Little and
Nate Beerman captured three-set victories for CC. Little defeated Rob Chang, 6-0, 6-7(4), 1-0(5), at the No. 3 position, while Beerman posted a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(10) win over Flores at the No. 4 spot.

Kaelin won the first set, 6-3, over Perry at the top spot, but dropped the final two sets, 6-3, 6-4, and Trinity won the other three matches in straight sets.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday, April 21, against No. 31 Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, beginning at 10 a.m. (CT).
