The Colorado College cross country teams return to action with split squads this Saturday, Sept. 21. Some Tigers will compete at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind., with others at the Metro State Invitational in Denver, Colo.

The women's team jumped two spots to No. 17 in this week's USTFCCCA Division III National Rankings, while the men's team continued to receive votes.

Several of the Top 20 Division III teams will
be competing in Terre Haute, where the NCAA Division III National Championships will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Cours

The Metro State Invitational will begin at 8:30 a.m. (MT).

The Tigers opened the season at the UCCS Rust Buster on Sept. 7. The women placed 7-10 individually, led by
Alison Mueller-Hickler, and placed second as a team, the best finish ever at that meet.

Will Shuflit, who finished seventh individually.

CC hosts the Ted Castaneda Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5, at North Monument Valley Park. The women's race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the men at 10:45 a.m. Â
