Colorado College junior forward Asher Nofziger has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, January 6 through Sunday, January 12.

Nofziger led the Tigers to a 2-1 week, including a 2-0 trip out to Texas in wins over Southwestern and Texas Lutheran. Nofziger averaged 20 points per game, 10.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.

He dished out 20+ point performances against UC Santa Cruz on Monday and Southwestern on Friday. On Sunday, he led the Tigers in scoring in part of CC's greatest margin in victory (97-56) in 21 years. It's the second POTW honor for the Denver native.
