The Colorado College men's swimming and diving team celebrated its six seniors and collected six first-place finishes on the second day of the Colorado College Classic at Schlessman Natatorium and enter the final day in first place.

On the 1-meter board,
Wyatt Wellehan completed the weekend sweep, taking first with 497.55 points, followed by
Aidan Richter in second with 471.30 points and
Nico Rimer in third with 382.85.

Both Tiger relay teams led the pack in the 400 medley relay. The "A" relay of
Sam Allen,
Andrew Colgan,
Tomas Gonzalez and
Jack Hussin placed first with a time of 3:31.74. The "B" relay of
Nathan McCracken,
Collin Ralston,
Dax Sherwood and
Step Flanagan touched second with a time of 3:40.66.

Later in the 200 free relay, the Tiger "B" relay of Sherwood, Flanagan, Allen and Gonzalez out-touched the University of Colorado's "A" team by 0.03 seconds and finished in 1:27.00.Â

The Tigers went 1-2-3 in the 200 individual medley. Ralston placed first with a time of 2:00.41.
Stephen Kim touched second in 2:04.56 and Allen finished third in 2:04.64.

CC also went 1-2-3 in the 500 freestyle with Hussin taking the victory with a time of 4:55.59. McCracken touched second in 5:03.86.
Lucio Bollettieri claimed third after touching in 5:07.32.

Allen claimed first place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:01.76, out-touching
Tomas Gonzalez who placed second with a time of 2:04.59.

Sherwood earned second-place honors with a time of 53.11, followed by Colgan, who placed fourth with a time of 54.89.

Edmund Davis placed fifth in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.96.
Zachary Harris was fifth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:26.80.

The final day of the CC Classic, Sunday, Jan. 19, begins with prelims at 9 a.m.
