The Colorado College swimming and diving teams return to action with their second dual meet against a Division II team in as many weekends. The Tigers battle Adams State on Saturday, Nov. 1, in Alamosa, Colo., beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Tigers traveled to Golden, Colo., for a dual meet against Colorado School of Mines on Friday, Oct. 24.

The men's team earned several wins, but dropped a 138-107 decision to the Orediggers.

Edmund Davis won two individual races, while
Andrew Colgan,
Sam Allen and
Liam McCarthy each posted an individual and relay victory.

Davis captured the 200 and 500 freestyle races
Dax Sherwood followed in second place in the 200 event,

Colgan won the 100 breaststroke, Allen the 200 backstroke and McCarthy the 50 freestyle, and those three joined Sherwood on the triumphant 400 medley relay time that finished with a time of 3:30.90.

Logan Loveday, who finished second to Allen in the 200 backstroke, captured the 400 individual medley in 4:14.83.

Despite four individual victories, the women lost, 159-81.

Keller Pooley won both diving events, winning the 1-meter with 243.30 points and the 3-meter with 241.28 points.
Hazel Ryden finished second in the 1-meter with 143.70 points.

Megan Simonson touched first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.75 seconds, while
Annie Engstrom won the 500 freestyle in 5:13.37 and finished second in the 100 freestyle.

Julia Cox placed second in the 200 freestyle and
Livi Woolery was runner-up to Simonson in the 50 freestyle. Simonson, Cox and Woolery joined
Sarah Buchman on the second-place 200 freestyle relay.

Pooley Named SCAC Co-Diver of the Week
For her tremendous effort in Golden,
Keller Pooley was named the SCAC Women's Co-Diver of the Week. Pooley took first place in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events in her opening meet of the season, just five days since returning from eight weeks studying abroad.
