The Colorado College volleyball team split a pair of SCAC matches Saturday in Houston, Texas. The Tigers swept the University of Dallas in three sets, then fell to Austin College in four sets.

In Saturday's opener, the Tigers (11-4, 4-1) scored the final 16 points of the first set and never looked back in a 25-7, 25-7, 25-16, victory over the University of Dallas.

Carolyn Dormady led all players with 14 kills and became the 13th player in program history to collect 1,000 career kills.
Camille Sherrill followed with 10 and
Brooke Brilliant had nine. CC posted a hitting percentage of .347, its second-highest percentage this season.

Annie Joo collected 30 assists and tied for the team-lead with
Meghan Gannon, each notching 11 digs.

Austin College snapped the Tigers' four-match winning streak with a 27-25, 16-25, 25-21, 28-26, victory in the afternoon.

Sherrill led CC with 22 kills, while Dormady followed with 16.
Annie Joo posted a career-high 49 assists and
Meghan Gannon collected a season-high 25 digs.

The Tigers return home for a match against College of Wooster on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Reid Arena beginning at 6 p.m.
