The Colorado College volleyball team returns to action against SCAC opponents this weekend with a pair of matches at home. The Tigers (12-5, 4-2 SCAC) will face Schreiner on Friday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m., and McMurry on Saturday, Oct. 11, beginning at 11 a.m. against the College of Wooster. The contest begins at 6 p.m., in Reid Arena.

Carolyn Dormady led all players with 11 kills and
Camille Sherrill added nine to lead the Colorado College volleyball team to a three-set sweep over the College of Wooster Tuesday night at Reid Arena.

Brooke Brilliant and
Julia Reusch combined for 14 kills and just two errors as the Tigers snapped a two-match losing streak in their final non-conference contest of the season, 25-21, 25-14, 25-8.

The Tigers (12-5, 4-2 SCAC) won a back-and-forth first set thanks to Reusch, who had three kills late as CC rallied from a 17-16 deficit to take the set, 25-22.

Another big run by Colorado College ended the second set as well.
Meghan Gannon took the ball to serve with CC trailing 11-10, and after a couple of aces, the Tigers were ahead 19-11, and rattled off 15 of the last 18 points.

The Tigers pulled away early in the final set, jumping out to a 12-4 lead and they never looked back.

Annie Joo continued her solid play with 34 assists and three kills, while Gannon had 16 digs and Sherrill collected five service aces.

Scouting The Opposition
Schreiner enters the weekend with a 14-3 overall record a 6-0 mark in the SCAC. The Mountaineers, who lead the Gold Division, defeated Centenary, LeTourneau and Ozarks, all by a 3-0 score, last weekend.

McMurry, meanwhile, is 9-6 overall and 2-4 in league play entering Thursday's contest at St. Thomas.
