The Colorado College women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Colorado State on Thursday evening in Fort Collins, Colo.
CC (3-5-5) scored on an own goal by CSU in the 69th minute after sophomore
Finley Schoenbeck put the ball into the box. Junior
Pressly Taylor was one-on-one with a Ram defender and the ball ricocheted off the CSU defender into the back of the net.
CSU scored its first goal in the opening minute and again in the 54th minute and held CC to no shots on goal to secure the win.

Regan Wallace made six saves.
The Rams got on the board when Kacie Laurie scored her first goal of the season. The Tigers' first shot came in the 14th minute by
Emily Hitt, which went wide.
CC's next attack came in the 25th minute when
Kendall Memoly had a good look at the net and fired her only shot of the game from just beyond the box, but it went wide left.
The Rams went into the break with a 1-0 lead. In the second half, CSU took four shots, two of which were saved by Wallace, before scoring its second goal in the 54th minute.
Sophomore
Nadia Cassamajor took her first shot in the 56th minute as CC s offense started to push more attacks into the Rams' box. Finally, in the 69th minute, Schoenbeck made a slip pass inside, where Pressly was waiting and both her and the Rams' defender attempted to make a play on the ball. However,
Schoenbeck's pass ricocheted off the CSU player and into the back of the net past goalkeeper Gray Wilson.
CC was held to only one more shot after the own goal and couldn't complete the comeback, ultimately falling 2-1.
The Tigers will travel to Laramie, Wyo. to face the University of Wyoming on Sunday at 1 p.m. MT.
