The Colorado College volleyball team won its fifth straight match and avenged a five-set loss to Schreiner last month with a four-set victory over the Mountaineers Saturday afternoon in Kerrville, Texas.

Brooke Brilliant led the Tigers with 13 kills as CC improved to 18-7 overall and 10-4 in the SCAC with a 25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-18 win. The Tigers remain in third place in the SCAC's Gold Division with two matches remaining in the regular season.

Camille Sherrill,
Delaney Dorscht and
Julia Reusch each collected nine kills and
Grace Berry had eight in a very balanced offensive attack.
Camden Goodman had 36 assists, while
Meghan Gannon led four Tigers in double digits with 22 digs.

"We played great defense today," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "We executed at a high level in all aspects of the game."

Schreiner's Giana Hilliard led all players with 20 kills as the Mountaineers fell to 21-6 overall and 12-3 in the SCAC.

The Tigers return to action with their final home matches at Reid Arena next weekend. CC battles Concordia on Friday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m., followed by Texas Lutheran on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m., for Senior Day.
