Colorado College sophomore Julia Cox has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week after a record-breaking weekend at the Speedo Invitational in Danville, Ky.
 
Cox, from Tampa, Fla., posted lifetime-best times in all three of her primary events, including a school record in the 100 freestyle.
 
On Friday, she placed second in the 50 free with a personal-best time of 23.99, then finished third in the 200 free with a PR 1:53.63
 
On Sunday, Cox placed second in the 100 free, breaking her own school record with time of 51.78. All five relays she swam on placed second overall in the meet and her top relay split was 23.42 in the 200 medley relay.
 
Cox scored a total of 98 points at the meet.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Dec. 6, with a dual meet at CSU-Pueblo.
