The Colorado College men's tennis team opened its spring season with a 6-1 loss to Seward County Community College Saturday afternoon at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs

The Saints jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches.
Dominik Kaminski and
Lenny Lehmitz dropped the No. 1 match to Sammy Antwi and Abubakaru Yakubu-Lea, 6-4, then Seward County won the No 2 and 3 matches, 6-2, and 6-1, respectively.

Lehmitz captured the only individual victory for the Tigers on Saturday, defeating Ojngen Gajic, 6-1, 7-5, at the No. 6 match. Kaminski took Sebastian De Los Salos to three sets at the No. 2 spot before falling, 6-2, 6-7(3), 1-0(7).

The Tigers return to action on Friday, Feb. 21, against Metro State at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs, beginning at 6 p.m.
