The 70
th-ranked Colorado College men's tennis team fell to 1-1 in SCAC play with a 7-0 loss to No. 29 Trinity University Saturday afternoon in San Antonio, Texas.

Trinity jumped out to a 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches.
Nate Beerman and
Lenny Lehmitz put up the best fight at the No. 2 spot, falling 6-4 to Connor Whittington and Eric Liao.

In singles, the Texas Tigers won all six matches, but two of them went the distance.
Sam Dilworth extended Aashish Dhanani before losing, 6-4, 6-7(5), 1-0(7) at No. 4, and
Lenny Lehmitz dropped the No. 5 match, to Whittington, 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-4.

CC went to tiebreak in at least one set in three of the other four singles matches, but lost all four in straight sets.

Colorado College (5-12 overall) returns to action for its final regular-season match on Sunday, April 20, against Southwestern University, in Georgetown, beginning at 11 a.m. (CT).
