The Colorado College men's tennis team wrapped up its regular season on Sunday with a 5-2 loss to SCAC-foe and 58^th-ranked Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
 
The Pirates jumped out to a 1-0 lead by sweeping the doubles matches. Dominik Kaminski and Lenny Lehmitz dropped the No. 1 match, 7-5, to Bernardo Clemente and Parth Patel, while Landon Sosebee and Sebastian Herrera downed Nate Beerman and Lenny Lehmitz, 6-0, at No. 2. Nick Anderson and Nico Davis fought hard at the No. 3 spot, but fell to Jared Burton and Joseph Snyman, 6-4.
 
Aiden Little and Kaminski each captured his singles match on Sunday. Little defeated Ashton Ellis, 6-0, 6-3, at the No. 2 position, while Kaminski beat Clemente, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 3.
 
Three of the singles matches were extended to three sets, but the Pirates captured all of them. Lucas Pastor took Nathan Qi to three sets at the top spot before falling, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, Sam Dilworth won the first set at No. 4 but lost to Nolan Alvarez, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5, and Lenny Lehmitz dropped the No. 5 match, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, to Patel.
 
Snyman downed Mateo Melgar, 6-2, 7-5, at No. 6.
 
The 70^th-ranked Tigers (5-13, 1-2 SCAC) return to action at the SCAC Championships in Waco, Texas. The Tigers will be the No. 3 seed and play the winner of Austin College and Texas Lutheran on Friday, April 25. .
