The Colorado College women's tennis team earned its first trip to the SCAC Championship Match for the first time since 2015 with a 4-0 victory over Southwestern University in the semifinals Saturday in Waco, Texas.

The Tigers, who are advancing to the SCAC final for just the second time since joining the conference in 2007, increased their winning streak to seven matches.

They took a 1-0 lead with victories at the Nos. 2 and 3 spots.
Kala Komanduri and
Amelia Karr defeated Daryl Locke and Helaina Reynoso, 6-1, at the No. 2 position, while
Avery Hickman and
Ally Lowe downed Valeria Gracia and Lilly Perkins at No. 3 by the same score.

In singles,
Lucia Moravek was the first off the court with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Gracia at the No. 5 position.
Lindsay Popeo followed suit with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph over Adrianna Kozakiewicz at No. 6.

Lowe defeated Locke, 7-5, 6-2, at the No. 2 position to clinch the match for CC. At that point, the other three matches were pulled.

th-ranked and second-seeded Tigers (12-7) will face 11
th-ranked and top seed Trinity University on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 12 p.m. (CT).
