The Colorado College men's tennis team won the doubles point, but fell to Division II Colorado Mesa, 6-1, Saturday in Grand Junction, Colo.
 
CC captured the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Dominik Kaminski and Sam Dilworth defeated Philemon Jabin and Emil Hultman, 6-4, at the No. 1 position, while Nick Anderson and Nico Davis beat Romain Payan and Jamison Pfingston, 7-6(3), at No. 3.  
 
The Mavericks rallied to win five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Lenny Lehmitz posted the Tigers' best result by taking Diogo Manzano to three sets at the No. 5 spot, 7-6(2), 4-6, 1-0(8).
 
The Tigers return to action on Sunday, April 6, against Division II Metro State in Denver, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
