Nearly 90 percent of Colorado College student-athletes competing in spring sports sponsored by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference earned a spot on the league's Academic Honor Roll.
Despite having just four SCAC sports during the spring season, the Tigers finished fourth overall in the conference with 87 student-athletes earning the recognition. Trinity, which fielded eight conference sports, finished first with 164 recipients, while Southwestern was second with 112 honorees in eight sports and Schreiner had 88 in seven sports.Â
Colorado College averaged just under 22 honorees per team, placing the Tigers at the top of the conference for average per team.
The men's (13/13) and women's (10/10) tennis teams each had a perfect 100 percent of players recognized, followed closely by men's track and field at 92 percent. Men's track & field also led the CC teams with 35 selections, followed by women's track and field with 29.
