Tigers Place Nearly 90 Percent of Student-Athletes on SCAC Spring Honor Roll

Nearly 90 percent of Colorado College student-athletes competing in spring sports sponsored by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference earned a spot on the league's Academic Honor Roll.

Despite having just four SCAC sports during the spring season, the Tigers finished fourth overall in the conference with 87 student-athletes earning the recognition. Trinity, which fielded eight conference sports, finished first with 164 recipients, while Southwestern was second with 112 honorees in eight sports and Schreiner had 88 in seven sports.

Colorado College averaged just under 22 honorees per team, placing the Tigers at the top of the conference for average per team.

The men's (13/13) and women's (10/10) tennis teams each had a perfect 100 percent of players recognized, followed closely by men's track and field at 92 percent. Men's track & field also led the CC teams with 35 selections, followed by women's track and field with 29.

James Andrews (men's tennis), Nate Beerman (men's tennis), Erin Capell (women's track & field), Britt Helgaas (women's track & field), Aiden Little (men's tennis), Isabel Olson (women's track & field), Lucas Pastor (men's tennis), Holden Perry (men's track & field) and Elliot Singer (women's track & field) added their names to the exclusive list of 244 Tigers who earned the distinction at least four times.

All-Americans Rabbit Barnes, the SCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Year and Elite 19 Award winner, and Isabel Olson, two-time SCAC champion, headlined CC's list of 21 honor roll recipients who also earned all-conference honors in their respective sports.

The other 19 CC student-athletes on that list are Allison Barker (women's track & field), Sam Dilworth (men's tennis), Ella Fullerton (women's track & field), Britt Helgaas (women's track & field), Emma Jones (women's track & field), Dominik Kaminski (men's tennis) Axel Klomparens (men's track & field), Kala Komanduri (women's tennis), Clara Lippert (women's track & field), Aiden Little (men's tennis), Ally Lowe (women's tennis), Vincent Mangat (men's track & field), Lucia Moravek (women's tennis), Alison Mueller-Hickler (women's track & field), Owen Shi (men's track & field), Will Shuflit (men's track & field), Elliot Singer (women's track & field), Josh Williams (men's track & field) and Aspen Young (women's tennis).
