Healy Bledsoe has been named a finalist for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Woman of the Year Award.
The award recognizes the conference's senior female student-athlete who has best distinguished herself throughout her collegiate career in the areas of academic achievement, athletic excellence and service and leadership.

Bledsoe helped lead the CC women's basketball team to its second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance and a SCAC Blue Division title. Months later, she helped orchestrate an NCAA Tournament run and a WIAC Championship for the women's lacrosse team.
She was an All-SCAC honorable mention for basketball. For lacrosse, Bledsoe was an All-WIAC and IWLCA All-Region first team selection.
Bledsoe earned Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators and is a member of the SCAC Honor Roll for the fourth consecutive season.
She was also the recipient of the Laura Golden Award, established in 1981 in honor of the late women's basketball coach and 1995 inductee into the CC Athletics Hall of Fame. It is awarded each year to the top senior women's student-athlete at Colorado College.
