"We had a good battle today against a quality SDSU team," head coach
Keri Sanchez said. "They pinned us back in the first half, but we're proud of our defensive effort. In the second half, we were more organized and had some chances. Bummer to give up another goal late, but fantastic response to score and earn a point on the road."
Four Tigers had shots on goal, led by Schoenbeck, who had the lone goal.
SDSU put up 20 shots, nine on net. Wallace made a season-high eight saves in one of her best performances.

Rose had the next best look in the 75th minute, which the keeper barely saved in the bottom left corner. Rose found herself one-on-one with the goalie and nearly scored for CC.
Emily Hitt had her first shot two minutes later, which was also saved. Wallace made one more save in the 79th minute before SDSU struck first in the 83rd minute with the goal from Leath.
It only took three minutes for CC to respond after Rose's ball opened the window for Schoenbeck to take her shot, which knotted the game in the 86th minute.
