Colorado College junior Brooke Brilliant has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for matches played from Tuesday, Sept. 2, through Sunday, Sept. 7.
 
Brilliant, from Marin County, Calif., tallied 36 kills over three matches as the Tigers posted a perfect 3-0 record in the Pacific Northwest, including 18 in a five-set win over George Fox.
 
She posted a .536 hitting percentage during the weekend and currently ranks third in the country in hitting percentage (.550) while leading the team in kills, kills per set and hitting percentage. Against George Fox, Brilliant collected a .739 hitting percentage and added three blocks.
 
The Tigers (5-2) return to action this weekend with three matches in the Carthage Invitational in Kenosha, Wis. CC will face Concordia University on Friday, Sept. 12, at 5 p.m. CT, followed by matches against 13^th-ranked UW-Platteville (10 am CT) and Carthage (12 pm CT) on Saturday, Sept. 13.
