Tigers Wrap Up Home Slate With 27th Annual CC Classic

The Colorado College men's and women's swimming and diving teams close out the regular season this weekend with the 27th annual Colorado College Classic, beginning Friday, Jan. 16, at 4:30 p.m. (MT).
 
Joining Colorado College for the Classic are Adams State, CSU-Pueblo (women only), the University of Colorado club teams and the Colorado Mines diving team.

Last Time Out
The women's team won a pair of dual meets last weekend in California. The Tigers downed Chapman,155.5-145.5, and Occidental, 166-90.
 
Against Chapman, Isabella Cole and Julia Cox led the way with three wins apiece, followed by Sarah Buchman with two.
 
In the relay dual against Occidental, Buchman paced the Tigers with four wins, followed by Megan Simonson and Livi Woolery with three.
 
Keller Pooley won both diving events at each meet.
 
The men's team split its two meets last weekend, defeating Occidental, 146-110, and falling to Chapman, 192-108.
 
In the victory over Oxy, five Tigers were a part of three relay wins, while Lima McCarthy won two men's relays and two mixed relays. Diver Nico Rimer captured the 1-meter event with 276.29 points, earning his first regional cut score as a Tiger.
 
Sam Allen led the Tigers against Chapman by winning three races, the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 400 IM.
 
Tigers Rack Up SCAC Weekly Honors
Colorado College swept the SCAC Diver of the Week awards, with Pooley and Rimer winning the women's and men's, respectively, while Allen was named the SCAC Swimmer of the Week after capturing six victories last weekend.
 
Senior Recognition on Saturday
Seven Tigers will be celebrated on Saturday during their final meet at Schlessman Natatorium. The men seniors are Lucio Bolletierri, Edmund David, Dax Sherwood and Wyatt Wellehan, while the women are Sarah Buchman, Grace Ersfeld-O'Brien and Megan Simonson. They will be recognized prior to the 5 p.m. finals session on Saturday.

The Tigers will head to Garland, TX to compete at the 2026 SCAC Championships starting on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
