Edmund Davis each collected a victory on the first night of the 27
th annual CC Classic Friday at Schlessman Natatorium.

Rimer won the 3-meter diving event with an NCAA regional qualifying score of 462.9 points, securing a regional qualifier in each event within the last two weeks.

Davis, meanwhile, easily won the only swimming event of the night, the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:50.45. He was followed by freshman
Mark Lofye (17:43.22) and sophomore
Connor Fredericks (18:46.55) in third.

The meet resumes on Saturday, Jan. 17, with swimming prelims at 9 a.m., followed by the 1-meter diving at 1 p.m., and swimming finals at 5 p.m.
