Gavin Lindberg and
Connor Hvidston each collected two goals and an assist and
Bret Link scored twice to lead Colorado College to an 8-3 victory over Simon Fraser University in an exhibition game Saturday at Ed Robson Arena.

Brayden Schuurman had two assists apiece for the Tigers.
Lindberg opened the scoring at the 7:02 mark of the opening period when he took a centering pass from
Owen Beckner and fired a one timer from the slot past SFU goalie Jesse Makaj.
Link made it 2-0 with a power-play goal with 1:41 remaining in the opening frame. His shot from the slot hit Makaj but snuck past him into the net. Wilson Bjorck and Blais-Savoie each collected an assist on the play.
Beckner scored 3:52 into the second period to make it 3-0, but Simon Fraser scored the next two to cut the deficit to one. Following Ridge Dawson's goal at the 13:06 mark, Hvidston scored just nine seconds later to make it 4-2.
Link scored his second of the game at the 16:16 mark, then Hvidston notched his at the 17:11 mark to make it 6-2.
Lindberg collected his second of the contest just 1:46 into the third period for a 7-2 advantage. Matteo Speranza scored for SFU with 3:19 remaining and
Merril Steenari tallied the final goal with 0.2 seconds left.
The Tigers outshot SFU, 49-11, and were 2-for-4 on the power play.
Jackson Unger had seven saves for CC, while
Beckham Dempsey had one as he played the final 4:38.
Colorado College resumes NCHC play next weekend at Omaha, Jan. 23-24.
