The Colorado College men's swimming and diving team posted five victories, three more school records and extended its team lead Friday on the third day of the 2026 SCAC Championships in Garland, Texas.
 
CC remains in first place with 630 points, followed by the University of St. Thomas in second with 401.
 
The Tigers started the day by winning and setting a school record in the 200 freestyle relay. The foursome of Liam McCarthy, Dax Sherwood, Sam Allen and Andrew Colgan finished the race in 1:22.22, surpassing the old record of 1:22.79, set last season.
 
Logan Loveday captured his first-career SCAC title, winning the 400 IM in school record time of 4:04.84. Kole Petersen finished second.
 
Edmund Davis and Allen then each won his second conference title in as many days, with Davis winning the 200 freestyle in 1:40.60, followed by Sherwood in second, and Allen the 100 backstroke in a school-record time of 49.38 seconds.
 
On the boards, Nico Rimer captured his first conference title, winning the 3-meter event with 369.95 points.

"This was another strong night in the pool for our team," head coach Jen Buffin said. "Our focus continues to be on maximizing our individual performances in the morning and then taking advantage of the opportunity at night to be even faster. I'm proud of how this group is staying focused on the process they're bringing great energy to every event and truly getting behind each swim and dive. That team support is allowing us to perform at a very high level. We're excited to finish this meet by staying focused on our goals heading into the final day."
 
The meet concludes on Saturday, Feb. 14, with the preliminaries starting at 10:30 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m. (CT).
